We scan photos and slides to a jpeg or TIFF file format.
For slides and negatives we offer 2 sizes either a 2000dpi or 4000dpi scan.
Photographs are either a 600 or 1200 dpi.

By far the most popular way of delivering our customers' orders is on a USB drive. But we can also put the files onto DVD or send by ‘wetransfer’.
Yes, computers will see the image files and the files can be transferred to any device. Many modern televisions will play image files from a USB stick. Please refer to your television's owners manual or search online for more information on what your television will accept and play.
We blow air over every slide to dislodge any dust and all of our slide scanners use Digital ICE technology to detect and remove dust, hairs, finger prints or scratches.

No, we do not remove photos. We can however scan an album a page at a time.
Yes, you can but we insist that you number each slide or photo individually.
A standard photograph scan is larger than a passport size and smaller than A4.
A specialised scan is for larger and small prints or if a print is torn or obviously fragile.
We have a range of professional scanners we use both Kodak and Nikon scanners for transparencies and Kodak and Epson for photographs.
No, we will only transfer material that the client owns or has written permission to transfer. Examples of copyrighted material include but are not limited to: films, television programmes, box sets, concerts

Yes, we always return the originals along with your new USB.
No, we offer no disposal service. All media must be collected or will be returned by post.

Yes! Call or email the office, we'll talk through your order and email you the official quote and reference number, plus a handy address label. Print these off, include the official quote sheet in your package, wrap them securely and attach the address label to the outside. We’d recommend using a guaranteed tracked & signed service like Royal Mail Special Delivery. Once received, we'll email you to confirm your items safe delivery and proceed to process your order.
